Why honey instead of maltodextrin?
Maltodextrin is a cheap synthetic carb that spikes fast and, for a lot of athletes, sits like a rock in your gut. HUNY uses organic raw honey, a real food carbohydrate that delivers glucose and fructose your body already knows how to use. Real fuel your gut can trust, not lab syrup.
Will it upset my stomach?
HUNY is built to be gentle on your gut. No maltodextrin, no seed oils, no synthetic syrups, no preservatives. Every athlete is different, so we always recommend testing it in training before race day. Sip water alongside it and start with one gel to see how you feel.
What is in each gel?
Organic raw honey plus a real electrolyte blend of sea salt, potassium, and magnesium. Per gel you get 20g of carbs and 220mg of electrolytes. That is it. Nothing you cannot pronounce.
Is HUNY vegan?
No. HUNY is made with real raw honey, so it is not vegan. It is a whole-food, clean-ingredient product for athletes who want fuel from real sources.
Does it contain caffeine?
Depends on the formula. Classic is caffeine free. Classic Boost 50 has 50mg of natural green-tea caffeine per gel for a clean lift when you need it. Mix and match to fit your run.
What about allergens?
HUNY contains honey. It is made in a facility that also handles other common allergens. If you have allergies, please read the full label before use. Honey is not recommended for infants under one year old.
Using HUNY
How do I use it and when?
Take one gel about 15 minutes before you start, then one every 30 to 45 minutes during your effort to keep carbs topped up. Always chase with water to help absorption.
How many gels per session?
For most runners, one gel every 30 to 45 minutes works well. For longer efforts, many athletes aim for 60 to 90g of carbs per hour, which is roughly 3 to 4 gels per hour. Dial in your own number during training.
Is it safe for kids?
HUNY is formulated as a performance fuel for active adults. Honey should never be given to infants under one year old. For older children and teen athletes, please check with your pediatrician first.

Subscriptions always ship free. One-time orders over $75 ship free too. Orders under $75 pay a flat rate at checkout. After processing, delivery usually takes 3 to 7 business days.
